Definition. Ergœrotics® [ur-guh-rot-iks] ˌər-gə-ˈrä-tiks applies the science of ergonomics to erotic activity, and its name is derived from combining the words "ergonomics" and "erotic." Ergœrotics® encourages adaptations of the erotic environment and activity to support a pleasurable experience that is also comfortable.
About Us. Ergœrotics® was created by sexologist Dr. Heather Howard to help you find ergonomic adjustments and sexual solutions related to physical limitations.
Our team
About the founder.
Dr. Heather Howard integrated sexuality in the management of her own chronic pain condition and became a sexologist in order to help others to find creative solutions to their sexual challenges. Her personal healing included movement re-education with teachers trained in Hellerwork, Feldenkrais and Gyrotonics methods.
She applied her knowledge of sexual anatomy and physiology, sexual activity, movement and pleasure product design to create Ergœrotics®, a new paradigm for sexual positioning, products and movement to support healthy, comfortable and pleasurable sexual activity.

We are based in San Francisco, California, USA. We offer global video (Zoom) consultation by appointment., as well as lectures and courses for clients and professionals. Please contact us for more information or to schedule an appointment.
